New advanced design VERGEMASTER RX Marker Post is constructed from Reflexapol^™ material to provide good rebound performance in the event of vehicular impact. VERGEMASTER RX Marker Post features a moulded-in white band and two microprismatic Impactalight^™ reflectors for increased reflectivity.

The high output reflectors conform to BS EN 12899-1 Class Reference 2 and feature a specially developed arced format, which dramatically increases the useful angle of reflectivity. This overcomes the problem encountered on winding roads with flat reflectors.

- Extended Base Fixing: The wide base of the ground-grip type ensures a secure location. A tapered base section assists backfill and gives added impact-resistance.
- Stake Type Fixing: The timber fixing stake is pressure impregnated with preservative and can be cheaply replaced if impact-damaged. An automatic stake-locking mechanism prevents unauthorised post removal.

VERGEMASTER RX Marker Post with Extended Base fixing has been successfully tested to BS EN 12767:2000 (passive safety of support structures for road equipment). Tested by TRL, the UK's leading centre for transport research, VERGEMASTER RX Marker Post not only passed at the highest level (NE4), but also returned upright and continued to function as a hazard marker post.
